The CBI Stump Shear makes "hog feed" out of the biggest stumps and butt logs at a rate of 50 tons or more per hour! Our rugged Shear utilizes two ripper teeth to pull stumps out of the ground, then the steel plate backfills the stump hole. With the power of dual action cylinders, the massive knife shears/splits the most difficult stumps. Shearing stumps removes most dirt and rocks thereby reducing wear and tear on the grinder.

The CI Stump Shear requires a 35,000 - 100,000-pound class excavator with an auxiliary hydraulic line for the additional piston.
